Removing Microsoft Office 2004 and installing MSO office     Student-Teacher prob23 Jan 2008 06:33 GMT1
My new computer ( running Leopard 10.5.1) has Office 2004 Test Drive,
which I am sure I have not used. When I go to Remove Office the remove
screen does not show any check boxes for me to select to remove the
test drive.  Why aren't they showing up? Can I just trash the entire
upgrade question23 Jan 2008 02:14 GMT6
I recently bought a mac book and with it purchased office mac 2004, I
was told by the retailer that I would be able to get the upgrade for
no cost from microsoft since the purchase date is so close to the new
release.  I am wondering if this is true or if I should return it to
Re-install 200423 Jan 2008 02:11 GMT2
I just installed office 2008 and realize it doesn't work with endnote.  Being a researcher, this is not acceptable and must go back to 2004.  Do you think I need to uninstall 2008 first or can I just put 2004 back on (I deleted it stupidly when it asked me during the 2008 installation).

Identity not importing when upgrading from MSO2004 to MSO200822 Jan 2008 03:17 GMT1
I just performed the upgrade from MSO 2004 to 2008. Using the import tool to get all my Entourage data doesn't works; the message states that no identity is found altough the file is there. In fact I can still run Entourage 2004.  Any suggestions? JGP
Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac22 Jan 2008 01:45 GMT1
Can I simply delete my old copy of Office X by dragging its folder in the Applications directory to the trash after installing the new 2008 version? Any other files elsewhere that need to be trashed?
2008 upgrade didn't remove 200422 Jan 2008 00:35 GMT6
The Office 2008 upgrade seemed to install fine (OS X 10.4.11) but it
didn't offer to remove my previous Office 2004 installation, which is
still there.
Should I just delete 2004 from Applications? Delete 2008 and start over?

MacWord 2004 and 2008 side by side21 Jan 2008 19:55 GMT3
I have Office 2004 on my Mac and am about to install Office 2008. But I have templates on Word 2004 that I am told will not work on 2008. So I want to run both versions, use 2008 regularly, but and 2004 when I need the template. Is this possible? It seems to me that it should be.
Leopard Quick Look on Office 2008 Docs21 Jan 2008 19:53 GMT1
For some reason, when I save documents with an Office 2008 application like PowerPoint, even as an Office 2004 file, the Quick Look doesn't work.  Is this expected or is there something I need to change in the preferences?  There is one that asks about saving a preview with new documents
Live window resizing21 Jan 2008 19:05 GMT2
