When I open a new document, though the format indicates it is single line spacing it is actually 1.5 or double. I can open an old file and the single spacing is quiet evident. How do I get new documents in Word 2008 to single space?

my "Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office X Identities/Main Identity/Database" has 300KB, the Office 2008 one 22MB. And I didn't even install Entourage! Can that file go in the trash?

Annoying visual glitch with vertical toolbars in Excel, Word. I like my toolbars vertical. I think it's quicker to click a button when they are vertical and at the edge of the screen. But whenever I command tab to another open application and command tab back to Excel

I have installed Office 2008 on a fresh install of Leopard. After Entourage runs for a several minutes, the sounds stop functioning. If I close and reopen Entourage, it will produce sounds (send, receive mail, reminders, etc...) for several minutes, then no sounds until I restart

Can anyone help me reset the print defaults? For some reason excel no longer recognizes my print areas. I have cleared print areas and reset them as well as defining the print area from the page layout view. Help!

I erased and reformatted my harddrive, installed Leopard, and reinstalled Office for Mac. Now I have problems opening office. It says there is "error uploading microsoft office framework" everytime i open it. It eventually opens, but it takes 2 minutes.

I want to use the Spanish dictionary to spell check documents, but can't get it to work. I have selected Spanish in the dictionary selection area of spell check, but it still uses English. The Help instructions keep sending me to "Language" on the Tools menu, but "Language" isn't

Hi, I have created a document full of breaking hyphens which I really need to be nonbreaking hyphens. Is there any quick and easy way of changing them all at once, or do I need to go through one at a time? Find and replace doesn't seem to work, because I can't insert the character

Hi, I am unsure about the right license for me. My company has given me a windows based computer with office installed. This computer is for my exclusive use and not shared with any other employee. However, I prefer OSX and would write the majority of my work related office documents

With the 2004 edition i always had the thesaurus, dictionary, justify etc icons in my standard toolbar which i really liked, but now i can't do that, and there are large gaps between each tool icon, Help would be much appreciated i can't seem to solve it in View-Toolbar

My new computer ( running Leopard 10.5.1) has Office 2004 Test Drive, which I am sure I have not used. When I go to Remove Office the remove screen does not show any check boxes for me to select to remove the test drive. Why aren't they showing up? Can I just trash the entire ...
