I am trying to register Office 2008. The website rejects the PID that appears in all the About menus so I can't register. Can someone at MS kindly fix this?

I am running Office 2004 on a MacBook Pro laptop and a Mac Pro. On the laptop I run Entourage and I need to keep THIS VERSION of Entourage installed and operational (I have scripts that work with it, but not the new version). I installed 2008 on the Pro and all went well, but

I'm stumped!!
I upgraded. macros don't work, VB add-ins (paid for some) don't work.
(do macro work at all? I tried the 'new' format and no chance to create a macro)
So, $200 + to go backwards????
Whats in Office 2008 thats 'new'??
2004 is staying on the machine 2008

I just bought Office 2008 for my new Mac and assumed it had Publisher on it, but it seems as if it has been replaced with Entourage. I need Publisher for a professional synthesis course to create newsletters and flyers. How do I get this for a MacBook?

Updates for Office v.X seemed to have disappeared from the main Mactopia download page. When I search for a 10.1.9 update, I see a link to an update, but that link takes you to the main Mactopia page where there aren't any Office updates except for Office 2004. Does anybody know how

I think my copies of Office 2007 (Windows) and Office 2004(Mac) permitted me to install on a desktop and a laptop.
Does the Office 2008 EULA also permit this, or do I have to buy two copies?

I have MS Office 2004 installed on a G5 Power PC single 1.8 with 2GB SDRAM and 100Gb free space. Trying to install the 2008 Home & Student version. The installation process goes OK, but when I then try to launch any app (Entourage or Word), they hang and I eventuall get the spinning

Is there a way to tell Word 2008 that I want always to have the formatting toolbar showing? What about the formula bar in Excel? I couldn¹t seem to get it to stick to the menu bars, much less appear as a default.

I'm curious about what gets installed by the Office 2008 Special Media Edition installer AFTER it runs the installer script near the end that puts icons of the applications in the Dock. My Office Mac 2008 installer crashed viciously at that point and took out the Finder with it so
