Earlier versions of Word contained a window in the task bar at the
bottom of the screen that indicated not just which page you were on, but
also the line upon which the cursor was presently positioned.
Word 2008 seems to be lacking that - and I can't seem to find a way to

The problem is that incoming PPT documents are translated to text or
excel, not PPT!

today and the links to promotions are messed up. There is no way for users
that are purchasing Office for Mac to view the offers or coupons at this

Help! I am trying to install Office V.x on my daughter's new Macbook
and even though it seems to install just fine, when she then clicks on
Word, she gets a message prompting her to enter the code, which we
did, CAREFULLY NUMEROUS TIMES :)  and we are getting a message saying

I have two users with MacBook Pro notebook and OS X 10.4.11 running
office 2004 11.3.9. Both of them are having trouble running powerpoint
slide shows. When they do, the app quits with an unexpected error.
