I have the Home / Student version of Office 2004. I am using two of the three licenses with  installations on two Macs in my home network. If I buy the full Office 2008 upgrade version, will I be able to upgrade BOTH of my previous Home/Student installations? Or do I need to buy two

I just bought a new Mac & Office 2004 for my son on January 5.  Installed the software on Jan 14.  Now I see that there is a new version available.  No one told us that something new was coming out this quickly.  Is there an upgrade or trade up option available?

I've had Mac Office 2004 for about 1 month and have yet to get the AutoUpdater to work. It appears to invoke correctly, indicates there is an update to install, allows me to enter my system password, but when I click "install", I get a message that reads, "The connection to the upgrade

In the past Excel for the Macintosh has not had the capability of opening in a spreadsheet format xml files which come from online databases.  Has this changed in Office 2008?  Excel for windows has no difficulty with this process.
