Hi again,
I wrote in a couple weeks ago about a "wrong code" error on a version
of Office V.x I was trying to install on  my daughter's new Mac. You
were all very helpful! And someone named Diane suggested I forget

I have the Home / Student version of Office 2004. I am using two of the three licenses with  installations on two Macs in my home network. If I buy the full Office 2008 upgrade version, will I be able to upgrade BOTH of my previous Home/Student installations? Or do I need to buy two

I just bought a new Mac & Office 2004 for my son on January 5.  Installed the software on Jan 14.  Now I see that there is a new version available.  No one told us that something new was coming out this quickly.  Is there an upgrade or trade up option available?

In the past Excel for the Macintosh has not had the capability of opening in a spreadsheet format xml files which come from online databases.  Has this changed in Office 2008?  Excel for windows has no difficulty with this process.
