Hi,
Sorry for the second post but it was worse than I thought!
Have just installed Office 2004 Mac on OSX 10.3.9.
All of the applications, Word, Excel etc. crash on start up, no matter where I try to open them. Entourage runs but crashes when I click certain mails.

it tells me that i another person is using office on the same network as i am, how can i work around this, so we can both use office at the same time whilst still being connected to the network?
how can i do this???

After inserting the installation dvd (closing other apps/admin user/etc) double clicking on the installer causes the installation application to open then immediately close on an iMac 2.4GHz running leopard 10.5.1 (9B18). No actual application window appears, only the dock icon appears

I've been using Office 2008 for the last few days, without major problems. Since yesterday I can't start up Word & Entourage anymore. I've tried deleting the preferences as suggested elsewhere in the forum, but no joy. The error I receive is the following:

The email search function in Entourage is now awesome, where before it was pretty dreadful. I think it may be about as fast as Eudora. Cool! Best,

hey can write in hebrew, however it makes a lot of problems. also, when i open a word document in hebrew it writes it from left to right instead right to left. what can i do?

I've heard people having problems with the fonts Office 2008 installs.
Can I get an answer on whether these fonts are required or not?
Currently, I have installed Office 2008 however, I chose not to install the Office Fonts. Do I need them?

I have a paid license for Microsoft Office 2003 that I used on my Windows XP Toshiba laptop. Is it possible to change that to MAC OS X or do I need to buy a whole new program?

I have been having an issue with the translator in word. Whenever I attempt to translate text, the box gives me the same error message, "Office cannot connect to the internet, make sure that your computer is connected to the internet and..."
I get this message even as I type this

I have an iMac G5, OS X 10.4.11 meeting all requirements. I insert disk Home & Student Edition and it rolls around makes a few noises and after a minute spits it out.

I would like to permanently prevent the Adobe toolbar from automatically popping up when I start Word/Excel/Powerpoint. I can make it go away from within the "Customize" menu but it comes back when I close and restart. Thank you!
