Yesterday I was trying to download a word doc from my yahoo email.
After the download, I noticed that the .doc saved to my desktop but
with many symbols/numbers after the doc name.  When I tried to click
on it to open it in word, word never opened.  I tried opening all the

I took Microsoft "Best Friday Deals" on Black Friday and now own

the second part of the deal: Deciding on which option to get for the

How can I uninstall an update that is in the incorrect language for my

What are all these green and red things hanging up outside of Starbucks?18 Dec 2007 22:59 GMT1
I am really confused - every year it gets cold and people start hanging silly green branches and red balls all over the place.  They also keep putting up little tiny lights on strings and oooohhing and aaahhhing over them.  What is that story??

We are running Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2007.  One of our users is sharing

She has invited the others to her calendar as reviewers and they are able to
see her calendar.  When I change the permissions from reviewers ...

I need to export data from my Filemaker Pro 8.5 contact database and

Difficulties upgrading 2004 to 2008 - who can I talk to?16 Dec 2007 19:12 GMT7
I am wondering if any of you know who I can speak to in Microsoft about the
following problem.
I bought Office 2004 last month (special November 23rd deal) with the
intention of upgrading it to Office 2008, since I already have the latter.
Entourage Address Book(s)14 Dec 2007 18:01 GMT2
I would like to use "categories," but the categories that are applied
to incoming messages apparently have to be in the "Address Book [On My
Computer]", while adding contacts (command-=) adds them to "Address
Book [Exchange account name]". Is there any way to fix this?

So, I bought a new iMac and took advantage of a bundle offer and purchased

When I moved my existing directory from my old Powerbook to the new iMac
