One of my clients just upgraded to Office 2007 and the floodgates of incompatibility opened for them everywhere. I know MS has a plugin for PC users in earlier Office to open these new native docs, but how about Mac 2004?

Sorry if this is the wrong discussion group. When Live OneCare starts its tune-up (the beginning of the first task in its list, "Remove unnecessary files") a popup box shows up saying "INF Install Failure. Reason: Access is Denied".

This stupid message pops up on all of my documents. I can't send anything as an attachment. I've done the shift key which prevents the message from popping up temporarily, but it's obviously still there. Is there any way to get rid of it?

I have been experiencing a problem with Excel everytime I try to open a file. Whenever I double-click on an Excel document the application begins to load and when the document would be about to open an error message is displayed.

After loading the most recent iTunes update, no Office 2004 products will work for me. I do not get any error messages. If I open a Word or Excel file the icon blinks in the dock and then disappears. I wanted to re-load office, but the same thing happens - the icon

I did a clean erase/install of Tiger et al on my new-to-me used G4. Incremental software updates etc., now running 10.4.10. Re-installing my apps -- Office 2004 for Mac (student/teacher version) hangs and fails.

I bought Office Mac 2004 about a year ago and was never able to get it installed. I'm using os X 10.4.10 on a Macboook Pro if that matters. When the CD is inserted into the disc drive, it spins but is not recognized. Eventually, it ejects itself. Theres not scratches on
