When I try to install the latest update for Office 2004, I get the
following message... "The installer could not locate the correct
version of the software required to install this update.  See the Read
Me file included with this software to determine if you software meets

I hope I'm not beating a dead horse on this group, but I'm looking for
information regarding Office 2008 and Sharepoint (or any of the other
Office 2007 systems such as forms server, communications server,
etc...).  I've found information regarding MS's party line of "support

I have a situation with migrating some older Office X files to a new Windows

In my home folder/Documents/Microsoft User Data folder, there are tons of
Autorecovery Files (eg., "Autorecovery Save of Exercise Journal.doc,"
"Autorecovery Save of Budget.doc," etc.) These are files I haven't modified
for several months or even since last year.

I support a number of computers at a university. A user recently
purchased a MacPro with OS X Server 10.4 installed (as she requested),
but for some reason, Microsoft Office 2004 won't update past 11.2.

Does anyone know how to extend (resize) the toolbars for Word in Mac?
The toolbars I use only cover half of the screen width.  I can see the
desktop behind the toolbars.  I have tried to click and hold the lower
right side of the toolbar to drag it across the screen but that

I'm getting a new error saying "Microsoft AutoUpdate could not be found.
Would you like to install it now?" Of course clicking ok does nothing. Any
ideas. I have reinstalled to no avail.

Office 2004 security/stability update to 11.3.4 Feb 13 changes Word version24 Feb 2007 02:53 GMT4
The only difference I can find is that the version number for Word has
changed from 11.3.3 to 11.3.4.  Entourage and Excel remain at 11.3.3.
So far, all three components play nice with OS 10.4.8 on a Dual G5 2.0
I ran the updater from the Entourage/Help/Check for Updates pulldown ...

I'm running Office 2004, and all of the applications occasionally just
close, sometimes with a recovery file sometimes not.  Running 2Gigs of
memory all the latest updates for OS X installed as well as Office.
MacBook - core duo, 2.0Ghz, 80 Gig drive.  Happens quite a bit when

What happen is actually very simple I bought Office 2004 (student and
teacher version) for mac and the programs language is dutch... How can

I just created a gmail account and an account in entourage, but the
gmail account has no sub-folders like my roadrunner  and hotmail
accounts (sent, deleted items, etc).

on my mac.

updates to my labs without visiting each workstation.  Help please if

Have multiple licenses for MS Office 2004.
Ported a copy of MS Office 2004 from old machine to new machine.
Tried to start ported copy but never had chance to name or product ID
and MS Office 2004 is dead in the wateron new machine now.

My local LAN is located in Arizona which DOES NOT observer daylight savings
time.  Do I still need to apply DST patches?
