I am on a MAC g4 with Tiger. I use office 2004. When I insert a jpg
picture into WORD in appears as solid black although it appears just
fine in other applications like preview.
How do I get the image to appear?

because I've gotten a segmented line after a number of paragraghs that
I can't  delete. They just shift up and down. Does anyone know how this

I had a serious problem with my computer, and it also killed my backup
drive. Long story, and not necessary here. At any rate, I had some of my
files recovered, and I'm stumped about the extension on them. The
