I have a legit copy of Office 2004 v.11.1 and I'm trying to upgrade to
11.2.6 and i keep getting the following error:
The installer could not locate the correct version of the software
required to install the update. See the Read Me file included with this

I have the Teacher and Student version of 2004. When I install, the
Microsoft Component Plugin info shows V11.2.2 (the applications all
show 11.2.0--see end of msg).  Autoupdating downloads the update 11.2.5
and I get the "can't find correct version..." you all know the bull.

I have got Office2004 for Mac. I tried updating the software, but after
downloading update 11.2.5 the update manager closes without installing.
Checking for updates again results in finding the update I already
downloaded without getting installed.

Wondering if someone can please help out with an issue I'm having. I
have a G5 connected to a W2K3 domain however Entourage cannot see the
Global Address book which means the user has to manually type in the
email address even for internal staff. I found the Service Pack 2

    I've tried a couple times to load OfficeXformac from the CD onto my

try to open any of the programs(Word, Excel, etc) in my main identity,

Hello, i work in a high school where we recently changed 20 machines
over the mac minis and purchased mac office, we installed using one
licence key as we were advised this would be okay from our mac
representative.

Here's my problem, looking for a solution:
My girlfriend and I are 'sharing' a copy of Office X registered to me.
One version on her laptop and one version on mine. However when we can
not use it at the same time on the same wireless network.

I am ready to buy Office 2004 Business Ed. this week.  Two questions:
1st - why should I buy Professional, i.e., why would I want to run PC
programs?
2nd - should I buy now or wait until the Office 2006 (sic)?  M'soft

I am  a new Mac user, and I wanted to know if it was possible to send
all my e-mail messages from my PC using Microsoft Office Outlook to
Office Mac? If so, how? I am trying to switch all of my info over to my
Mac.

I purchased a copy of Word for Mac a few months ago for my wife's
Macbook. She didn't like the Macbook, so we're selling it, and I'd like
to uninstall Word and sell it separately. Can I sell it, and will the
buyer have any problems installing it?

Has anyone else had this problem with Office:mac?  Trying it on a new
macbook pro (intel).  This is the only CD that won't run.  There are no
surface marks or defects.  Any ideas?

installer doesn't import the preferences (autocorrect, auto text, etc.)
to 2004. When I look in ~/library/preferences/microsoft I find 2
