I have to keep restarting my computer to be able to open Word or
Entourage.  The icons just bounce a little but won't open.   I was
getting a request from Entourage to rebuild the database which I did
about 6 or 7 times.  I got another warning which I ignored.    I am on

that Office is running very slow for my taste, and while everyone is
saying Office 2004 will run fairly well with Intel until a native

I cannot open Microsoft Entourage 2004 Student Teacher Edition.  I just
installed it from disc for my new IMac and all other Microsoft Office
applications open except Entourage.  When I click to open it I get an

I updated office last night with the 11.2.5 patch. Now Entourage,
Powerpoint and Excel are missing. Spotlight can't find them and they
are not in the trash. They have vanished from the

Office 2003 offers the ability to add references, such as intranet, to
the Reference Tools palette. Can the same be done in Mac Office 2004?

Just updated to version 11.2.6 and now my Internet Explorer ver 5.2 no
longer starts up.  Since MS no longers supports IE and you can't
uninstall ver 11.2.6, I wouldn't update at the moment.

Let me start this out by saying I'm a PC engineer, I do not do Macs,
but my wife had a G4 and we just upgraded it.
I know I'm not the only one getting this error as I've seen it listed
about a dozen times, but the only people that I see with a solution

I just switched Internet providers and now have a dual modem/router.
The problem is now I can only run Word on one computer at a time. The
window that comes up says that I am only allowd to run it on one
computer and it detects another trying to use it.

I've been trying to download the new security update for almost a week
now and neither my word auto update program can download it, nor can I
do it manually by going directly to :

I am running 10.4.6 on a Mac G5 dual 2 gig.  Upon launcing a MS Office
2004 application today I took notice of the available upgrade to 11.2.6
and proceded with it.  This is where things get wacky.  I did the
upgrade and promptly encountered an error message stating I was missing

I just got an recent update download for office. And there is this
annoying computer generated voice that reads everything that you do.
Things like  Voice: "FIRE FOX" when you open the application. Does
anyone know how to turn it off. Or delete the update?

The formatting pallette jumps completely off the screen. I've tried
removing and then installing back to the toolbar, all the customize
options, did the update, and it still jumps off the screen. Any ideas?

is there a script or an easy way to print the 'Worksheet Name' in the
header or footer without going thru each worksheet?  I am using Office
2004 on a Mac.
