I was flabbergasted to learn that the Office: Mac license forbids
running Office for Mac on anything else but a Mac.
Is this legal? If I pay for a program, why couldn't I run it on any
machine I want to? Assuming that there were a program to run Mac

I have OS X 10.3.2 and Office X 10.1.4 on a dual 2 GHz PowerPC G5.

For better support of Mac users, I want to run Office:Mac on a PC. Though I
know about PearPC http://pearpc.sourceforge.net, I did not yet give it a
try. Are there other solutions available?

I bought a copy of Mac Office 2004 on eBay. The auction said it was a
brand new copy of the student teacher edition and that I could install
on three computers. but he sent only one license key, and said i could
use that to install on up to three computers.

I've migrated to an Intel Mac some time ago. I noticed that the Mac OS
X version of MS Office 2004 is unfortunately for the PowerPC
architecture.
Is there a native Intel or universal binary build available? If not, is

In Office 2004 I no longer receive the alert sound when saving a
file,e.g., Word or Excel. It worked fine in Office X.
The Microsoft Office Notifications is set to On for both Office
