Does anyone know if Microsoft Access is Mac compatible?  I have an old
version of Office and assumed it was included, but checked tonight and
found out it is not.  Where can I get a Mac version?  Thanks

I have been send a number of .vsd files and I have to read them on my
mac, and can nto find any way of doing it, any suggestions?  And no I
can't have them put into a word document or converted. I need to be
able to view them on mac nothing more.

I think I've read enough in these pages to know that it's not possible
to get Office to work in more than one language for a single User (I
mean menu commands, dialogs, etc. -- not talking about dictionaries,
puntuation, etc.).

Upgraded to 11.2.3 on my powerbook this morning. Subsequently Excel is
no longer. Any one else experience this strange problem?

I am the IT administrator in our company, for around 25 Macintoshes,
mostly iMac G5 20'', where the users are network home users. All
machines have Office 2004 installed. In the last month, several users
have been complaining that they are unable to launch Word or Excel on
updated to 11.2.3 but only entourage notes shows up in .mac sync menu16 Mar 2006 09:14 GMT1
so I would assume this means I can only sync notes. What about adresses
and calendars? Any one have this issue? Any one solve it? Thanks in

I was syncing ok between Entourage and my Palm device.  When I replaced
my Palm device, I updated the Palm Desktop and hotsync with the
provided software.
I started having problems with duplicates even though I have all of the

I had the academic version of Office v.X. This evening I installed the
academic version of Office 2004. Now there is a folder for each version in
my Applications folder.
Is there some reason that installing 2004 doesn't "overwrite" v.X? Is there

Hi, I just got my macbookpro and tried to install Office:Mac 2004
Professional Edition.... but I was unable to  choose the Office Setup
Assistant from the menu. Alternatively, my macbookpro also seemed to having
trouble reading the installation CD because it took a very long time ...

I run a Mac lab with about 10 computers in which logins are integrated
into Active Directory. I set it up so that there is no local profile
created when students log in. Basically all the computers share the
same folder (desktop, library, preferences, etc.) on the server and the

Ok, this will probably show what a novice I truely am, but here it
goes.  I have a G3 ibook on which I had been happily using Office v.X
I just had to have my hard drive replaced and, not suprisingly, the
Office program was gone.  I've been trying to reinstall it and have not

Can anyone tell me which proofing tools come with a localized version
Office 2004 Mac? I know for Windows that each localized version does
only contain a few other languages, e.g. the English Office 2004 Mac
does contain English, French and Spanish proofing tools.

Having some trouble with Word 2004, I decided to reload it from my CD
but failed to remove the previous version (my goof). In the reloading
process, a lot up updating was brought in from the internet.  Now when
I try to open Word, I'm told tnat this is an upgrade and that I must

Just moved all files from mac G4 to new imac G5 via the Apple transfer
prompts over firewire.
Everything works great except every program in Office crashes instantly.
"ex_bad_access" or something like that is the top of error code.
