I accidently substituted curlz for bodini and clicked make permanent.
Now every document, including a 15 year old document  shows bodini as
curlz.
I've tried deleting all of the preferences I could find and even

I reinstalled office 2004 and when I start up the message comes " the
font xxx is corrupted and needs to be removed".
I reinstalled office from the disk but this does not seem to be the
problem.

I'm considering purchasing Office Suite for my  Mac, mostly for
"Powerpoint".  I currently have an iMacG4 running on OS X. 1.5 - 384
ram.  Recently when I tried to download learning software for InDesign
CS I was told via/pop-up, that I need OS X2.3 or higher.  Is the same

I need to tie up the installed versions of Mac Office 2004 to the boxes in
which they came. Unfortunately I can't see how to tie up the product ID in
the "About Word" dialog to anything on the Microsoft Certificate of

Hi! I recently bought this OS 9 application which uses excel for data
storage. However, I cannot open the excel file in the classic
environment and OS 9 doesn't recognize that it's an excel file (i.e.

I occasionally use Office Notifications to set reminders.  Recently, when I
click the "complete" button (either on the pop-up reminder, or on the task
itself), the reminder comes right back with the box unchecked.  Thus I am
reminded again and again on tasks that are actually done.
inserting pictures in Microsoft Word X17 Feb 2006 13:52 GMT1
I want to insert a picture in a word document. The help menu suggests
that I go to the "Insert" menu and then click on "picture". The problem
is I can't find the insert menu. It's not in the bar at the top of the
screen. What's up? Do I have to reinstall Word?

Everytime i create a word document and try to send it from entourage
(all 2004 edition) I get the message that the above virus is in the

When we launch Office applications on our Macs the splash screen

I'm running OS 10.4.4, Office X with the 10.1.6 update installed.
Everything was working fine upto a couple of weeks ago. The Office, no
matter which component just crashes upon launch. Sometimes I get the
Project gallery window for a second or two, sometimes not even that.

I have just migrated all my applications (using migration assistant) to
my new iMac DC and found a Test Drive Office 2004. I already had a
licenced version running and this was migrated successfully. Now I have
been advised to remove both the Test Drive AND my original licenced

When ever i try to save a document in any of the office programs, the
beach ball spins and it takes a few minutes for the save dialog to come
up! what seems to be the problem?
