I have a 3-year old G4 powerbook with Office x.1 on it. I have the CD for that version of Office. I'm buying a new dual-core notebook, which is scheduled to arrive in a couple weeks. I need to run Office 2004 on the notebook.

Is it possible to upgrade to MS Office for Mac from Windows Office for PC? My sister-in-law just made the move to a mac. Sheowned Office on her old Gateway Laptop, can she upgrade to the Mac from her PC version? thanks.

When I try to open a word document, powerpoint, excel spreadsheet, etc... I get the same error message, "This operation could not be completed". If I then open the correct application (e.g. word) and then try to open a document, it works fine. Could someone help... why

I"ve just bought a Intel Core Duo; a neat feature was the ability to transfer all my applications, preferences and documents from my old Mac with just one click. I transferred MS Office 2004 to my computer in this way.

I just received a copy of Microsoft Office Mac (Home Use Program) for my new iMac G5. When I try to install, I receive an error that "data can not be read from PMingLiU.ttf (Error Code 36)." This prevents me from using any of the programs.
