How is it that there are addresses in my Entourage address book that I
can not erase? they all have < at the beginning and > at the end. Also
have a little blue dot in front instead of the icon that looks like a
game piece.

I've just installed Office 2004 on my new Powerbook. It claims to open
Appleworks Files in Word and Excel but doesn't seem to recognise any of
them when I try. I tried giving them a .cwk extension but that didn't
help.

Hi. I've just read some topics on this subject, but no one helped me,
so I ask if there's anyone that can help me...
Today all sounds in Entourage and in the other application of Mac
Office 2004 have gone. I don't hear any sound no more. Every preference

I own Office:mac 2004 Student and Teacher Edition. I have one copy
installed on a Powerbook that now has a bad logic board. It will work
however for about 10 min. before freezing. Is there a way to remove
that copy and keep the product code and install it on my new Powerbook.

Am on 10.4.3 Wanting to install the 11.2.1 Office X updater but can't
because for it to work, i need to first upgrade entourage, I go and get
the update to do so and it jsut gives me the 11.2.1 updater! How do i
get around this prblem

I just tried to insert an equation in Word using Equation Editor.  I
get "The server application, source file, or item cannot be found.
Make sure the application is properly installed, and that it has not
been deleted, moved, or renamed."

I have as single copy of Office 2004 Std. installed on my PB G4 (Tiger) and
iMac (10.2.8).  My iMac is primarily used for admin tasks such as billing,
accounting, etc.  The PB is my main mac for all other activities.

domain, of which I am an administrator of. I then made myself an admin
on the laptop. When I logged in to my laptop, everything seemed to
work, but when I tried to run Word, it comes up saying "There is not

Is there a way to Assign Tasks in Entourage, then e-mail the "Task" to
an assignee's e-mail address, the same feature that is in Outlook?
Who is our advocate at Apple or Microsoft to get some of these basic
features added to Entourage that have been found in Outlook for years?

It appears that Entourage doesn't have a setting that allows the "next
message" to be read, only "previous message" or "close window"
Is there somewhere else that "next message" will automatically come up
when a message is deleted?

My Office 2004 is running at v. 11.2.1.  How do I know if I need SP 2?
Is SP 2 necessary, and work correctly?

I bought a new iMac G5.  I need to take Office off of the old iMac and
install it on the new one.  (Using Tiger on both machines.)  I have
kept the Office updated.  Can I simply port the entire set of files
from the old iMac to the new one?  I have my original registration
