I recently installed Mac Office 2004, I downloaded and installed the update
11.2.1.
Question:  is  11.2.1  a  "combo"  update that would cover ALL the updates
listed for Mac Office 2004, there are 13 that might apply to me.

Most recently, in trying to save a Word document using the "Save as.."
dialog, it took several minutes to display the dialog box. All the while,
the SPOD was spinning away in Word. I could use other apps, even other
Office apps (Entourage, Excel), but not Word.

I downloaded the Office 2004 Mac 11.2.1 update and it appeared to load
just fine.  However, now everytime I open any office product (Word,
Excel, Entourage, etc.) it also tries to launch the update as if it has
not been loaded.  Has anyone seen this and is there a simple fix?

Call me old fashion - - I have Office '98 on a Mac G3 with OS 10.2.8.
Recently both Macs and PCs have been unable to open my attachments.
Some have suggested I Save As .doc.  That option does not exist for me.
Is this a OS problem or Office '98 problem?

I'm working on a brand new IMac G5 using OS X 10.4.3. I installed MS
Office 2004 and now I can't find Appleworks 6 via either Finder or
Sherlock. My kid uses Appleowrks in school so I'd like ot find it for
him.

I use a Mac with OSX Tiger. I installed an Office 2004 test drive, but
then bought an Office X and started using it. I uninstalled Office 2004
test drive, but now whenever I try opening an office document (word,

I just purchased an IMAC G5 and installed the Microsoft Mac Office.
After installation, I went to try all the applications and they all
bark at me saying that the test drive has expired.  I then get a link
to buy it.  What happened?  Is there a fix?  Who should I contact?

I recently upgraded to a new laptop and gave my wife my old one.  I had
Office 2004 installed on the old laptop and moved it to my new one.  I
bought my wife a new copy of Office 2004, uninstalled the old Office copy
from the old laptop (deleted the files and all the Office plist ...

I imported my contacts from outlook 2003 into entourage. After import,
the data under each field name has "quotation marks" . Is there
something I missed in the mapping, etc.?

   Is there any tool from Microsoft converting text files from Mac OS to
Windows? if yes is it support arabic.

This is probably a really obvious question, but if anyone can let me
know i'd be v happy.  I have an iBook G4 with Mac OSX system.  I want
to get Microsoft Office for Mac - will it work if I get it?  Or is
there a particular edition I need to get?

I currently record home video using my Sony Mini DV Digital Handycam,
Model # DCR-TRV22.  I'm beginning to pile up the mini tapes, which I
can view by connecting the Handycam to my television.  It would be nice

Will Office X (the version prior to Office 2004) run successfully on a Tiger
OS (10.4.xx)?

Same thing happened to me on my new G5.  My full version will be
delivered today but it's still a bother, along with the hum that the
