Our files are stored on a windows server and a few weeks ago it crashed
and burned.  Since they restored it we have had problems with the
files.  The latest problem is I sent a word file to somebody and it
bounced back with the following message:  Received: 554 Sorry, message

I'm trying to upgrade a Powerbook from Office v.X to Office 2004.  It
installed without any problems, but when I try to start any of the
applications, the window comes up to accept the license agreement, and I
accept it and then click Next, the application just closes.

My hard drive failed. I installed a new one and I My office X was
transfered from my laptop. Now Work Excall and Powerpoint will not
work. They lload and on the first command they quit. I reloaded the
software from my office update disk and it will not let me complete the

When I open a file in a microsoft office program (ex: Excel) -- I can't
get all the details displayed -- such as "file type" or "file size". Is
there some way to do this in office programs?
BTW: I can see all the details fine when I open a finder window.

Running Office 2004 on mac os X Tiger.  Initially used the same disk to
load office 2004 on my and my wife's computer.  Discovered the error
and reloaded separate disk on my mac.  Recently had to reinstall Tiger
from the system disk.  I had to create new users, etc after the

         I recently sent a Word doc. with graphics in it to my wifes PC
at her work and it was displayed as a two page doc. instead of the one
it was when constructed on my imac. Any ideas? Do you think I need to
re-install it?

I have Office 98 on Macintosh OS 9.2.2. I cannot open downloaded files with
the .exe extension. Error message states the application program cannot be
found.
What can I do?

I currently have Office v.X for the Mac; I don't have Virtual PC. I was
planning to get VPC 7 w/Windows XP.  However, I notice that for only
$60 more I can get Office 2004 for Mac Professional Upgrade, which
include VPC 7.  If I buy this upgrade, will I be able to use VPC 7 even

Everytime I click on an Office document (word, excel, powerpoint)  I
get an error 10660. But if I just start the program (click on word) it
starts up. Anyone know how to fix this?

In an archived message it says Office 2001 clipart can be copied to the
folder with Office 2004 clipart. I upgraded my Office, but let it remov
Office 2001 as it installed 2004. I didn't know it wasn't importing the
old clipart, or that 2004 would have so little.

Hey guys :) I'm linking multiple charts from Excel into my thesis
(Word), and expect to need to edit text above and below these charts as
my thesis is revised.  The problem I'm anticipating is that when I
delete text above a large chart, it often leaves an empty void if the
