I've always been under the impression that displaying the Preview
Pane was
not a good idea. Is this in fact true?
My understanding was that by displaying the message in the Preview Pane

i'm now running office 2004 in mac os x tiger 10.4.1
and i have a printer from kyocera mita; it's  FS-1010
i've been having problem printing in mac os x tiger.
either in firefox nor office..

A bit of a silly question:  I am expecting a new Mac in the next day or
so.  I have Office-X on my current iMac and need to uninstall it, so I
can install the software on the new computer (as MS only allows a
single install).  Where has MS hidden the uninstall function?

I received an image in the .pub file format from a non-computer literate
person. In what program can I open it, or to what program can I import it to
- being on Mac OSX 10.3.9 as I am?

Suppose you are only scripting Microsoft Office 2004 applications for
the Macintosh (OSX). If you were to write the "same script" in Visual
Basic and in Applescript -- that is, follow the same logic and apply
similar commands and perform the same loops -- would one execute faster

I'm trying to update Office 2004 on my brand new iBook. I installed
Office 2004 from the CD without incident. Then I downloaded SP 11.1.1.0

I manage a small number of computers for a grant project whose purpose
is to write a series of text books.  Formatting is of major concern.
The issue is that there are MAJOR problems with migrating to Office
2004 from v.X.

I am under the assumption that when you upgrade from Office 2004 to
Office X you will lose all of your contacts and other stuff.  Is this
true?  If not great, if so what do I do with all my other contacts?

I am unable to quit any Office 2004 component without resorting to

I am noticing significantly slower response times to entourage, excel
and word.  I have also seen entourage freeze and need to be forcedquit
several times.  is there an update for tiger coming to solve these
issues?
