Upgrade question31 May 2005 20:11 GMT3
I'm planning on upgrading both my OS ( to OS X 10.4.1 )
and my Office ( to 2004 ) at the same time.
I'm planning to wipe my drive and update everything from
scratch. My question is regarding updating the Office
Installing Office Professional over Office27 May 2005 05:13 GMT3
I am about to start using my G4 Powerbook (1.5 GHz, 512, OSX v 10.3.9)
at work and just purchased Office Professional because of the fact VPC
is bundled with it. I already have Office loaded (teacer/student pack)
and wonder what will happen when I load this newer version?
Office 2004 and Novell Netware23 May 2005 19:26 GMT3
We are running Office 2004 on OS X and Novell Netware 6.5. When we try
to save files to the file server, strange things happen...
For instance, with Word: The file saves and then there is a message
that 'Word failed reading from this file <file name>.'
Can't print from 3/4 of Office 200422 May 2005 18:06 GMT1
I am using 10.3.8 and recently, I can't get Word, PowerPoint, or Excel to
print because it says "No Printer Selected" where you can select the
printers. Entourage is the only component that allows for printing. I can
save as a PDF and then print it from preview (or any other ...
Does Office for OSX need Office 2001?21 May 2005 21:48 GMT1
I'm trying to clear up some room on my hard drive, and I see that
Office 2001 takes up about 400mb of space.  I'd like to remove it
because I don't use the Classic environment on my Mac.  The thing is, I
upgraded from Office 2001 to Office X back in late 2001/early 2002.
Office 2004 not installing correctly21 May 2005 16:14 GMT4
Awhile ago I posted that I was having install problems.
I followed the MVP procedure for uninstalling Office, and I uninstalled the
software.  The odd thing was that Office 2004 was still there!  So I deleted
it and went from there.

Can I replace my disks?20 May 2005 15:39 GMT5
I _know_ this will sound bogus, but I've truly-rooly lost my Office Mac
disks. I've searched high and low and have come to the inclusion that
they've fallen into a wormhole and are being used on another planet.
This is no big problem at the moment as I have the apps. installed and
Problems with Office 2004 and Tiger20 May 2005 14:34 GMT15
I've had major problems with Office ever since installing Tiger, though I'm
not completely sure Tiger is the culprit.  Excel runs at a snails pace - I
have to wait several seconds each time I input any number in a cell.  Also,
both Excel and Word crash (stop responding) when loading ...
Entourage Calandar19 May 2005 23:16 GMT1
Here is a good question that I'm having problems with. I'm the only one
using Entourage at my office and every one else is using MS outlook
which I got working great but I want to view someone else's calendar
from outlook but I don't know how to set it up. Is this possible to do?
Office 2004 Install Problem19 May 2005 15:35 GMT3
Like Jonzy, I did not know that Office 2004 Test Drive was on my new
iMac when I installed the full version. Not to worry: I ran the removal
application from my hard drive. But it gave me a choice between
removing Office X (yet another version of this suite is on the computer
Tiger and Office 2004 compatible?18 May 2005 05:40 GMT17
Apart from Spotlight in Tiger not being able to search Entourage, are
there any major incompatibility issues with Tiger and Office 2004?

import entourage17 May 2005 15:24 GMT1
How do I import entourage mail from my old computer?  I can't locate the
correct directory.  I found the main identity folder, but when trying to
import it didn't recognize the files.  I have entourage x on both macs.
Thanks.
3 Installs on 3 Different Computers?17 May 2005 07:58 GMT7
I installed Microsoft Office 2004 (Student Edition) on my iBook when I
purchased it, then reinstalled it after some slowdown.  I used two
different access keys...does this mean that I have installed it on two
different computers? Can I use the access key that I used during the
