REMOVAL OF OFFICE 200415 Apr 2005 02:35 GMT4
I just installed Office 2004 on my G4 and had some issues.  I installed
it again, this time doing a custom install, choosing not to load Excel,
PowerPoint and MSN Messenger.  However, now I have BOTH Office 2004
programs on my computer.  How do I remove the original one (with the
MS Access15 Apr 2005 00:53 GMT14
Why doesn't MS support MS Access for Macintosh?  Since I work in an
educational environment that's mostly PC with MS Office begin the main
suite, it would only be logical that since the PC version of MS Office
contains MS Access for database entry, the Mac version of MS Office would
Office 2004 ST and Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger14 Apr 2005 17:49 GMT2
With Apple's announce to release Tiger on the 29th, does anyone know of
'ol Bill's plans to release an update?  I'd love to know before going
out and getting Tiger.
Thanks!
web page creation14 Apr 2005 02:28 GMT2
When I installed Microsoft Office recently, I thought I saw information
that said it could be used to create a web page. Is this true, and if
so, how do I access that tool?
Three user licence only allows two users14 Apr 2005 00:24 GMT1
We've purchased a 3-user license for MS Office and installed it on our
three OSX 10.3.8 Macs. One of the Macs works fine. The other two have a
problem whereby if one is using MS Office, the other cannot open any MS
Office Apps. A warning comes up saying "MS Word [etc.] cannot start

Word Hangs when copying text13 Apr 2005 03:43 GMT3
I am having an issue with copying text between Office X 11.1 apps
(Running OS X 10.3.8). If I copy a table from excel into word, no
matter the size of the table word hangs (spinning ball) and will not
recover, force quit will not work, a restart is the only thing that
"Tiger"12 Apr 2005 17:15 GMT4
Since the next version of OSX is almost out the door, I have started
wondering if my current version (2004) is going to have any problems if
I decide to upgrade.

Alphabetize in a Data Merge11 Apr 2005 16:08 GMT3
I am in the process of putting together an address label document in
Word (Office 2004 for Mac) using my Entourage Address book. When I do
the merge, the records do not come up in alphabetical order. Going to
Office Help I searched "alphabetize" and found the following:

ICS Calendar files08 Apr 2005 19:08 GMT1
I have been working with some Lotus Notes based customers and when they send
me an invitation to a meeting it comes in an ICS formatted attachment. If I
try to open it it opens in iCal.
Is there any way to open these files in Entourage? I can always add a
Error messages saving to network drive08 Apr 2005 17:58 GMT1
We've been having some issues here and hoping that someone can help me out.
We have some Mac users who are having problems saving files to a network
drive. In this particular case, it's a Netware 6 server. They either get
disk full errors, read errors, or several others. These ...
Office X 'clean' reinstall: delete all old files?08 Apr 2005 02:21 GMT7
I'm about to try installing the latest bug-fix collection, sorry.
"security update" for Office X, 10.1.6. I'm hoping it might reduce the
frequency of Word's charming crashes.  Who knows, I might get lucky and
it'll even fix the completely messed up 'contact' feature in Word that
switch from PC to Mac08 Apr 2005 02:19 GMT2
Have just switched to Mac.  Feel greatly misled about the problems
switching from the PC. Cannot open docs and AOL is also messed up. If I
install Microsoft Office 2004 Student Edition, will old docs print as
they are seen on the screen?  Also, any suggestions on how to be able

Does anyone know how to find out the serial number under OfficeX and
Office04.  I have been looking everywhere and can't find it.
I am needing to get all of this information together for an upgrade.
Thanks in advance.
