Ok, I'm an idiot. It's been several months since I installed several
copies of Office for Mac. Since then the original software CDs have
become separated from the machines they were installed on and now I
don't know which CD goes with which machine. I'm trying to organize

A friend has Office 2004 on Mac OS 10.3.8 and complains that it's
sometimes, randomly, saving docs into the Office folder in Application
instead of into the Documents folder.
He never said *which* of the apps in Office, though.

I updated this morning with the Office 2004 11.1.1 Update, but now I
have no Excel file in my applications. I still have my OS X version,
but the 2004 copy is gone. Any idea what happened? Thanks!

I'm running office 98 through classic on a E-Mac and I lost my excel
and word drop downs in both application. Any advise on how to get them
back.

I just bought my first Mac ever (Mac Mini with OS X) and installed a
fresh Office 2004 into it.
However, I cannot edit powerpoint objects embedded in a word document,
which I use a lot.

I recently upgraded my Mac  from 9.x to OSX. I was running Office 2001
in 9.x. Do I have to buy new software to have the version of Office
that is compatible with OSX or can I download an upgrade?

Bought my 1st Mac this week & purchased Office 2004 Pro for it.
I was surprised to find that it doesn't include Access.
When I asked the vendor to check, he told me that he doesn't think Access is
available for Macs.
