Pictures disappearing from stationary18 Feb 2005 19:33 GMT3
I created a letterhead stationary pad for myself.  I've got it set up with
my logo in the header and address in the footer.  The first page is
different.  The second page has a combo logo and address and a text only
header.  Today I clicked on my icon and got my standard piece of ...

Another seat?18 Feb 2005 10:51 GMT1
I hope I can make this clear enough.  I've been a Mac user and a Word user
for years and years, buying upgrades all along since the very early days.
A few years back I dropped one of our G3's and bought a G4 tower.   I bought
an OfficeX upgrade for the old Word program I'd been ...

When printing to "save as PDF" the file name changes to formatting
palette.
This only happens when the formatting palette is open.
Is there any way to stop this.

Office 2004's spelling tool has stopped adding words to the custom
dictionary.  The "Add" button is grayed out.
Otherwise, the spelling tool and my custom dictionary work fine in the
several programs of Office 2004.
Product Key Problem16 Feb 2005 06:19 GMT3
I had downloaded my roomates Microsoft Office with her permission, and
realized that it's illegal when a message would pop up saying that both

Can't print envelopes in Word X or Word 200415 Feb 2005 17:50 GMT1
Working on document recently, changed page setup to be 14 x 8-1/2.
Word changed normal.dot without prompting me at SAVE (which is my
default), after that all documents were 14 x 8-1/2, changing it didn't
help.  Finally deleted normal.dot, Word then created a new one with

Opening Attachments10 Feb 2005 10:42 GMT1
I have a PowerBook G4, Mac OS X operating system.  I am using Microsoft
Office X.  I have Windows Media installed.
However, when I get an attachment, either .pp or .wmv, I cannot open,
even though I drag the icon to the desk top.  When I try to open the
MSDN Universal & Office for MAC10 Feb 2005 06:09 GMT1
It appears that MSDN Universal does not include Office for Mac or other Mac
applications.
Does anyone know why this is and why neither the Mactopia nor MSDN web sites
explicitly mention this?
Track changes colours10 Feb 2005 02:41 GMT3
For some reason, Word X is using blue for track changes on my Mac iBook G4,
yet when I share the document with others, they see the changes in red. This
is a real problem for me because I have hyperlinks within the document and
it's difficult to see which blue underlined phrases ...
