When I start computer Outlook Express 6.0 opens OK. But sometimes, out of
nowhere, I get a message, "Outlook Express has encountered a problem and has
to close". If that happens, or if I voluntarily close Outlook Express, I
cannot reopen it without closing everything that I have ...

When opening an email attachment only a partial screen is displayed.  The red
close x button is not shown.  There is no option on the toolbar to add this
function.  My only option is to click the toolbar and then select the maximum
option.  Any suggestions appreciated

I have received a used Gateway system I am fixing up for my neice.
It originally had Windows Millenium in it but that OS was damaged due
