I have a problem with OE 506 : the installation seems to be OK, but when
I try to start OE, my iMac sends the message "type 2 error, please restart"

I'm running oe 5.0.6 (and previously had same problem with oe 5.0.2) on a g3
platinum, 5xx Mb RAM. On a few messages, not all from the same sender, the
page that should hold a message is blank. However, I CAN read the message if
I press the Reply button. Any suggestions?

Anyone know how to fix this?

I have a G4 iMac running 9.2.2, with 5.2 OE. Just set it up and have
odd missing 'close-window' square in upper left. In fact, when you go
to File to Close Window, that option is grayed out; in other words, i

I have Outlook Express 5.0.6 installed on my iMac, with my email and contact
folders there. I have just set up Outlook Express 5.0.6 on my PowerMac and
wish to bring all the folders over to the 2nd machine. How do I do this? I

After a problem rebooting I had to make some adjustments to my files
and after I was done, I discovered , upon opening Outlook Express, my
folders were gone along with some important saved e-mails.

OE 5 on OS 9.1 - something like 5-10% of my incoming e-mails will not open
in the preview window BUT will open if I shift to REPLY or FORWARD panels.

Is it possible to paste jpeg photos in an email body in OE?
I receive them this way but when I try and forward they disappear.
All attempts to paste in the body are fruitless.

I am trying to send through Outlook Express (via our ISP Wanadoo, and email
address provided by Nameplanet) but think the settings are wrong, as sending
fails and only receiving works! But I have set up OE exactly as Nameplanet's
web page instructs.

Does anyone know of an add-on or work around that will allow OE to receive
proof that a sent email has been opened by the recepient?
