I recently bought a PC and want to transfer the Outlook
Express 5.0 personal file folders from my Mac to Outlook
2000 on my new PC. How do I do it?? I feel like I've
tried everything with no luck.

I can not launch my Outlook Express as I get the following error:
An error occurred while laughing
The end of file was reached.
I tried downloading the program again and copied my identities.

When I try to launch Outlook I get the message "An error occurred
while launching. An I/O error occurred. " My hard drive starts to make
a sound like it is stuck.

i have outlook 5.0.6 and system 9.2.  when I delete an email from my
inbox, and the person's name is in my address book, the email is
deleted but it does not go to my delete box. It just dissappears. All
other email that I delete goes in the delete box. Where do the mystery

I get the error message "OE Schedules appear to be
corrupt" when I try to launch my Outlook Express. The
error message has to be "OK"ed twice before it leaves the

I'm trying to import/view mails stored in an old Outlook

In the Windows versions of OE, the user can choose between
displaying incoming messages in plain text or html.  OE 5
for Mac displays incoming messages in html.  Is there a
way to view messages in plain text instead?

I've set-up an account in Outlook Express 5, but whenever I try to
access that Hotmail I get an error about "HTML" and "authorisation".
The login and password are correct since they work through the web
browser and the account does get a small "MSN" icon in the folder list.

Hey everyone. I have a dilemma. I just upgraded to OE 5.06 from 5.02
and I can't get the contacts, addresses or old emails to import into
the new version. Is there a certain folder I need to be looking in?

supressing one's message on a newsgroup with OE 5.0201 Aug 2004 20:31 GMT2
I've just heard PCs had an option in the Outlook Express "message" drawer
that allowed them to suppress a message that has been posted on a newsgroup.
I've checked OE on my mac (G4 OS 9.2) and I haven't been able to find such
an option, even in OE preferences.
