HELP! According to Apple Tech Support the information
still exists but they can'thelp me to find it. Microsfot
no longer offers tech support for Outlook Express on a
Mac. I am in desparate need of someone's help - there were

PROBLEM:  Using Outlook Express (5) for Macintosh to send e-mail.
WHAT I CAN DO:  
 I can use OE to:
  1.  Download e-mail from my CompuServe account

I have tried every possible combination of settings in the Tools>Account
menu and still can't make the dang program reply to an email and have the
"from" field automatically show the "to" address where the sender sent the
mail.

I would really appreciate knowing how to download my mail from my primary
account (hotmail based) in Outlook Express for Mac Version 5.0.6 to my
harddrive, specifically how to download specific folders so I can refer back
to them. Any suggestions?

Have a mac running OS 9 that has thousands of emails.
Cannot delete these, OE tries to empty deleted file when
it closes but crashes instead.

On my Mac's harddisk I checked under Misc./Microsoft User Data/
Documents/Identity/Main Identity - and found a document named

I had a disk crash. Since reinstalling OE 5.02 on my Mac, I have been unable
to recover my old mail messages. I have tried the Import command, I've
replaced the new Messages file (presumably where the messages reside) with
the old one (and it still comes up with the new messages!).

For some reason my boss' computer won't retrieve new messages.  I know the
settings are correct and I double checked them just to make sure.
At first the error I received was "Disk is Full" so I rebuilt/compacted the
database.  Didn't work.  I reboot, shut down and waited to restart ...
