Using OE for mac.
ISP account is redirected to a MS exchange server for
incoming mail but outgoing mail goes directly to isp.

I am using mac OS 9.1 and my outlook express 5.0 crashes
upon opening. I get error message "The outlook express has
unexpectedly quit because of an error type 2 occured." I
tried dumping and reloading outlook express and internet

I would like to change the sound files on Outlook Express and could not find
any reference in the Help system.

I've been using OE for years with no problems, but all of
a sudden two days ago, the entire system freezes
everytime I try to open an html email, and I have to
reboot my system.  Text emails open just fine.

Does any one knows how to import emails from Mail.app to Entourage?

How can I convert Outlook Express from OS 9 (which it currently runs
in) to OS X. I'm interested in downloading Entourage. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.

My problem is similar to that of Jo Dee (e-mail 7/1/04) but OE tells me it
can't retrieve or send, keeps asking for my password, I keep giving it and
we go round in circles. However, my problem is that I CAN send and receive
but find it v. annoying to have these messages flash up. ...

As of the past few months, my OE5.06, has been INUNDATED by junk mail, which
I really never received. Now, 90% of incoming emails are junk. Is there any
way I can configure so that OE throws all those junk mails into a JUNK
FOLDER like hotmail does? OE used to be so much fun, now ...

I've searched around for information about disabling VB script in
Outlook Express for Mac -- and found nothing.  Just some references to
"VB is not supported in OE on Mac".
Can this be?  And more importantly...

I get an error "553" when I send an email with a subject
filled in and the email does not get sent.  If I send it
without a subject then the email will be sent.  Why is
this?

Recently emails I get in OE 5.0.6 for Mac have quit showing graphics in the
message window. The window is blank, but when I hit the forward message
button text from the message shows up but the graphics do not. What is going
on?

I recently had a major crash on G4. Now most things working, but can't
open Outlook. Get end of file error. Tried rebuilding database (both
ways) and still get error.
All preference files appear to be intact.

Does Outlook Express 5 for the Mac have a Return Receipt
function?  If so, where is it?

Howdy,
I unintentionally managed to get my inbox moved to a subfolder.  This seemed
to be a result of these steps:
   - create a new folder

I am receiving quite a lot of messages each day concerning so called
non-delivery of e-mails which I have never sent.
I am also beseiged with 'upate security packs', security patches and the
like purporting to come from Microsoft.
