HELP!
I mistakenly deleted a group from my address book and I
am looking for a way to recover those addresses. Any
suggestions besides not making the same mistake twice?

I must convert from Outlook Express on Internet Explorer
5.x for Mac to Windows.  Is it possible possible
to "read" or "import" the message files as well as the
contacts? I need eventually to change to Outlook.  Can I

I'm running Outlook 5.02 on an eMac under OS 9.2.2. There
are two accounts on Outlook, mine and my wife's. Recently,
I used File|Switch Identity to change from her account,

Trying to send message but am unsuccessful every time.  I keep getting
error -23016; "Mail could not be sent to account " ".  Connection
failure has occurred."  Before today everything worked fine, now
suddenly today...Any idea what's going on? config options need

My outgoing mail server requires authentication.
I checked the option to authenticate, but outlook express
is still unable to send email.
the logs on the server show that outlook express is NOT

When one user running Panther and using Apple Mail sends and e-mail with
a long URL link included to another user running OS 9.2.2 and using
Outlook Express, three characters in the middle of that URL are missing.
Nothing is missing in the original e-mail sent on the original Mac ...

Since I joined Freeserve, they've changed Outlook so that it has their In
and Out box and Bin etc. How do I remove this?

I have a number of different interests and instead of me looking down all my
folders in newsgroup to hunt out what i want, is it possible to folder all
the groups for music, all the groups for my pet dog, all the groups for etc.

I'm sharing a flat and presently the same computer. I joined Virgin and I'm
able to get mail etc. I got a list of their newsgroups that I wanted to
subscribe to and sent some postings. The responses i got were very helpful

Suddenly I started getting these errors which bring down my entire system
(9.1).  I recently did a lot of moving messages between folders; could that
have messed-up something?  I recall there is a way to compact or re-index my
OE database, but I don't recall how.  Any suggestions?  ...

I want to redirect my incoming email to my YAHOO mailbox, because I
will be on the road for the next 3 weeks.
I created a simple rule that redirects all incoming mail to my YAHOO
adress.  When tested, the incoming mail is redirected but is blocked

Since I have been getting this message when trying to close the program, I
am unable to send any mail. I have been receiving mail, but cannot send.

I am thinking to get a beautiful mac, but before doing the last step, I'd
like to ask if the Outlook Express 5.0.6 from Microsoft that you can use
with mac is the same version as in Pcs.

I cant retireive my emails off my ISP server. I've had to go to the ISP site
and do web mail to read them.
The *receiving messages* statement in OE 5.1 Mac just keeps going for
hours.

I am running Mac OS 9.2.2 and OE 5.0.6 and whenever I receive new
e-mail I get the standard OE new mail notification but also I get an
applause sound set alert.  I also receive my Hotmail account mail
