My 82 year old mother has an original imac & system software. She uses
OE 5.06, and has this problem: Mail can be sent, but not received with
OE. I live in DC, she's in MT, and I'm her phone support. When this

I have received one specific e-mail which I cannot open, read or
delete, because it causes OE to crash or freeze everytime I click on
it. I have tried increasing memory (up to 40000k) thinking it might be
a large file,but with no results.

Is this possible? In Eudora, you can highlight a message and hit delete
before opening it. It doesn't seem that this can be done in Outlook Express,
or can it, and how is it done?

I am about to upgrade to OSX, and I need to back up all of my Outlook
Express folders and stuff. I think I can find the folders and copy them
somewhere as I have done in the past with Windows, but I wonder if you guys
would recommend Entourage X, or any special tips for backing up ...

Hi - I'm new to this group.  I'm not using Outlook Express - I'm using
the Mail program that came with OS X 2.6.   I would like to use it
with my MSN Hotmail account.  What do I put in for account type
(POP?), incoming server, and outgoing server?

Just reinstalled Outlook, but can't send messages out
