I want to install the latest Mac version of Outlook
Express on my Mac but want to make sure I can import all
my data from the previous version I am now using (5.0.2)

If I send an email from the PC to my Mac and it breaks it
appart (due to large size), how do I reconstruct on the
Mac?

Last night I upgraded from 9.2 to Panther. Then I opened my Outlook
Express. Everything was there and intact. Then this morning I opened it
and there was nothing there, and only the one identity when I went to
File/switch.

All of a sudden, on the completion of a complex rebuild. I started getting
type 1 & 2 errors. The compactions were never finished properly (old files
not prefixed with "old") I did every thing I could think of to fix the

I have been using Outlook Express 5 with Mac OS 8.6 for some time now and it
suddenly will no longer allow me to drag and drop messages from one folder
to another.
I have trashed preference files, done a clean install with version 5.06,

I'm on a Mac G4/733/40G HD/896 mb Ram/OS 9.2.2
I get my email from OE 5.0.6 through Adelphia.  Until two days ago I also
got newsgroups in both Adelphia News and the Microsoft News Servers.  In
addition, I also read newsgroup items on Netscape 4.79.

Is this the right NG for internet explrer outlook express 6 ????? I am
trying to find it so that I can subscribe to it using OE .  I know I can go
to the forum in microsoft and read there but I want to download the correct
one .  This one says Mac at the end.  I have windows xp. ...

Well, my address book crashed whenever I tried to add an address
beginning with S or W, so I exported and then reimported, but the same
problem existed.
I then went through the address book and deleted all e-mails and names

running on G3, os9.2, OutlookExpress 5.02. with earthlink. I just set up two
new e-mail addresses for my kids with their own identity on OE. my account
works. The two new mailboxes can send, but NOT receive any mail. any
thoughts? is this OE problem or earlthlink??

Can anyone help me? From time to time I get a problem with OE. I have
several email accounts set up on it. Sometimes it won't let me send
out emails with this message coming up.  Other times it won't let me
pull in emails from different accounts, same error message.  Sometimes

How may I extend the server timeout in MAC Outlook
Express? I can find it in my friend's XP Outlook Express
but I need to give the mail more time to find it's
postoffice. Thanks in advance.

I have several email addresses and I need to access my email from home and
from the office using the same lap top.  To date I have just been
reconfiguring the accounts each time and it takes forever.  Is there an
easier way for me to switch from office to home without reconfiguring ...

I use OE 5.02 on OS 9. I have several identities (four "a", "b", "c" and
"z", plus main identity, which I do not use)  My problem is this:
occasionally, quite often in fact, when composing a new message in "a", "b"
and/or "c" identities, upon sending said message, I will get an ...

When I go to check my email messages, anything with an
attachment has a note at the top that says "OE removed
access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail".  
How can I adjust this so that I can see all attachments

How do I insert (not attach) a graphic in OE 5.0.6 for Macintosh?
Apparently there is an insert menu in OE for Windows, but I can't find
it in the Mac version.
