Does anyone know what to do about the following error message?
"An error has occurred while launching.  
A read/write error has occurred (-40).
This happened after I tried to delete my "deleted" e-mail.  I was

5.0.6 which had been running on OS 9.2.2 w/o any probs. just stopped

My wife hi-lighted the mail in our outbox and deleted it. There were
over 3000 e-mails. The computer Mac G4 dual 500 locked up, When
restarted OE would not open, an error message #2 would show up, then
another message would say can not open that feature not enough memory.

When I click the MAIL button in Explorer 5.5 Outlook
Express 4 opens instead of Version 5. How do I configure
Explorer to open up the right version. I can't see it in
Preferences.

I am having trouble forwarding e-mails in Outlook Express 5.01.  If
it's an e-mail I am creating myself, I can open my address book and
click on the names I wish to send it to.  However, if it's an e-mail
someone sends me & I click forward, I am not able to choose names from

We are having trouble adding addresses to our book. Once
you save, they don't show up in the book like they should.
And if they do and you click on the address, it disappears

Everytime I try to open my internet explorer 5, it will attempt to
launch and then immediately quit saying "The application Explorer has
unexpectedly quit - the system and other applications have not been
affected" I'm using Mac OS 10.2. I've tried re-downloading explorer

I am using Outlook Express 5.02 for Macintosh.  Does anyone know how if
there is an out of town notification feature in this program?
I am wanting to let people know that I am not not going to be checking email

Since yesterday I found out my outlook express 6 inbox
couldn't show all new messages. I only use find function
to see the new messages, same as send message. Hope
someone can help me. Thanks
