I have a video file on my Uni MacBook (Leopard) I need to convert in
order to compress.  Using Get Info the Kind says "Quick Time Movie," and
the Codec says "Windows Media Audio 9 Standard, Windows Media Video 9
Standard.  

Hi, i'm FreeBSD user from Korea. So long time ago, i really wanted to
use Mac OS. Because Mac OS give me some curious. It's very uniq as if i
discover utopia. So can you please tell me how to i install Mac OS
without Mac hardware. Currently only what i have is Intel hardware.

Assistant window that says:
Your keyboard cannot be identified and will not be usable until it is

Apparently different video drivers are loaded depending on if a monitor is
connected or not. This is the case when connecting via VNC to a "headless"
Mac Mini.
Using just a Mini-DVI-to-VGA adapter won't load another driver.

I once tried eyeTV, but returned it as the sound wasn't synchronized
with the video - but my console shows:

Best utility to use when Disk Utility won't see the disk?

The Mac Mini ac adapter is off until the Mini commands it to turn on via the
iSense pin in the power connector.
What does the iSense pin need in order to start the external SMPS ac adapter?
Pull low? High (5v)? Or...?

I bought a Logitech MX-1100 to use on a iMac that I plan to purchase
shortly.  I decided to test it out on my 17" MacBook Pro.  I put the
batteries in the mouse, and plugged the USB receiver into the MBP.  The
pointer would not move.  I opened system profiler using the trackpad

I have an AirPort Extreme Base Station 802.11n (AEBS) connected to a
Dell Inspiron 6400 running Windows XP SP2.
I was using it with an elderly non-wireless broadband router for
internet connection, but I have just changed to a broadband modem

Here's the problem: I make a VPN connection (PPTP). As soon as I make
this connection, I lose internet connectivity with Safari. I can no
longer browse internet. As soon as I disconnect from the VPN
connection all is fine.

I have an iMac connected to a Time Capsule/Time Machine.  I recently
bought a Macbook Air which after using a couple of times turned out to be
faulty.  I decided to change to a Macbook Pro which is now en route to me
from Apple.  I deleted the file referring to the Macbook Air on ...
