The 80GB internal drive in my PB 1.5Ghz has been feeling cramped for a
while. I've sortof been holding out until this dies or I want to jump
on a newer MacBook, but I'm not sure I want to wait anymore.
I'm not sure exactly where to go for a high capacity notebook drive,

I am a pc guy trying to help a friend replace their mac g4 iBook A1005
notebook battery.
What I am not sure of is how much to trust non-genuine apple replacements.
Does anyone have any trusted supplier of genuine and/or non-genuine

My trusty ol' PB3400 is finally starting to act up.
All of a suddden it failed to boot up completely.
When I hit the power button it 'clicks' and the HD spins up,
but I get no chime and the screen remains black.

Since iSight is iGone - what recommendations does anyone have for a
WebCam that'll work on Leopard on a Mac Pro?

Hi all.  I have a Quicksilver with the dual port VGA & ADC card.  I picked
up a relatively inexpensive 19" Starlogic LCD that looks very average
with the VGA connection - actually not too great.  It does have a DVI
input.  If I get an ADC->DVI adapter to use the monitor's DVI ...

I'm trying to use my Mac Mini with an Airport Extreme card, which is
connected to the internet using Siemens Speedstream 4100 DSL modem,
for Internet Sharing with a Windows (work) laptop.
So, in the Sharing preferences panel:

I have a LaCie d2 120gB hard drive hooked up as a backup to my iMac
G5. It worked error free until two days ago when the computer refused
to recognize the hard drive. Unfortunately, while it was used as a
backup on one computer, it was also holding the entire set of files

I had a white M7803 keyboard connected to my Linux box, which totally
froze. After reboot, bios reported no keyboard. The keyboard didn't
react at all nor flashed lights at boot.
Same behaviour when later connected to my dual 800 G4.

is there a Usenet group for iPod discussions?  Lost mine and am
considering its replacement.
