I am a pc guy trying to help a friend replace their mac g4 iBook A1005 notebook battery. What I am not sure of is how much to trust non-genuine apple replacements. Does anyone have any trusted supplier of genuine and/or non-genuine

My trusty ol' PB3400 is finally starting to act up. All of a suddden it failed to boot up completely. When I hit the power button it 'clicks' and the HD spins up, but I get no chime and the screen remains black.

Hi all. I have a Quicksilver with the dual port VGA & ADC card. I picked up a relatively inexpensive 19" Starlogic LCD that looks very average with the VGA connection - actually not too great. It does have a DVI input. If I get an ADC->DVI adapter to use the monitor's DVI ...

I have a LaCie d2 120gB hard drive hooked up as a backup to my iMac G5. It worked error free until two days ago when the computer refused to recognize the hard drive. Unfortunately, while it was used as a backup on one computer, it was also holding the entire set of files

I had a white M7803 keyboard connected to my Linux box, which totally froze. After reboot, bios reported no keyboard. The keyboard didn't react at all nor flashed lights at boot. Same behaviour when later connected to my dual 800 G4.
