I have a Late June 2005 Power Mac G5 with a superdrive, and whenever
I
put DVDs in the tray, it attempts to read the DVD and after a few
minutes, it spits out the disk... will re-installing OS X fix this

I am looking for a slide scanner to use with my Mac (Mac Pro G5 running
10.4.11). Please give me your recommendations.
I'd like a device that can handle both 35 mm slides and negatives. I have a
flat bed scanner with a slide adaptor but the results are not very good. I

I'm a PC bod so just looking into macs
read they canhave upto 4 graphics cards installed which has sort of blown my
head away
