Considering purchasing an external drive for my Intel Mini for use as
media depository and backup drive. I want to create bootable volumes for
experimenting with other OSes (XP on one, Linux variant on another,
Leopard on a third, perhaps Panther on fourth) for my work as tech
1st gen iPod on iMac 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo05 Nov 2007 00:02 GMT8
A new 2.4 GHz iMac was delivered this week but one of my iPods won't
connect in iTunes. Both iPods work fine on the old 400 MHz G3 machine.
Both machines are using Mac OS X version 10.4.10 and iTunes
version 7.4.2.

I have a MacBook Pro which is currently running Leopard. The computer is
configured with a single administrator account and several user accounts. I
normally run from one particular user account.
The oddity is that the keyboard backlighting works on all of the accounts

I'd like to buy a new monitor for my Photoshop work and have visually
compared the Samsung 206BW to the Apple 20" Cinema Display (side by side
comparision in a big box retailer)...  the Apple seems to be better

Since the upgrade to leopard MT_NewsWatcher hangs at the 'Awaiting
Confirmation' task window when posting a new article or replying.
Anyone else got the same problem?

Did anyone succeed to fill a 8 or 9 bay HD enclosure with Seagate
750's and got them all to work?
I had until now 5 of these 750s working in my enclosure... two per

Recently I was in the midst of typing some information on a web page
when a gray wash appeared on the screen and I got a dialog box in four
languages saying that I must restart the computer. The computer was
unresponsive after the dialog showed up. I shut it down by holding the
