Will this Power Mac recognize hard drives larger than 128 GB, or only 128 GB and smaller? If not, will a partition made on another Mac be recognized or do you need a special program to make that partion? TIA, PE

| Apple's New Keyboard | 19 Nov 2007 22:25 GMT | 10 |
Do you have one? If yes, how to you like it? After my visiting daughter dissed my (4yr-old) Apple keyboard that came with my G4 MDD, it continued using it with a more critical eye. (fingers?)

I'm thinking of getting a Wacom Bamboo One Graphics Tablet but I'm not sure how easy it is to swap back and forth between the tablet and the existing Apple mouse. Will it require a reboot every time I want to change?

| Upgrading Xeons? | 16 Nov 2007 12:47 GMT | 2 |
I have an original 2x dual-core Mac Pro. I've found that the only thing I can do to stress the cores is Handbrake encoding, in pretty much every other case the majority of cores are idled. I'd like to try to keep about the same performance, but lower my power

Anybody know if this can be done? I've got a 733 at the office and a spare 867 Mhz processor from the QS that I upgraded at home. If I can put the 867 in the office computer I'd love it. And the 867 is just sitting there going to waste.

I managed to replace my dual G5's System drive with a mirrored RAID of higher capacity. It took 96 hours, and three different FireWire external HDs, until I found one that would boot the Mac with the original system HD removed.

| Hoping for warranty | 07 Nov 2007 18:24 GMT | 4 |
My PowerMac G5's 160GB disk has started making moaning noises. As I move my data to another drive, I wonder what warranty options I might have for the old disk drive itself. I tried looking on Seagate's site, but they said the OEM provider would have to deal with it.

I have a digital recording studio. It has several output options:s/p dif, scsi-2 50 pin, and midi. Is there a way to feed this digital output into my iMac? It's a recent model, with usb, firewire, ethernet, and audio line-in ports. I could use the monitor out-linein, but that ...
