Does anyone here have an opinion on the quietest hard drives available?
Thx in advance.

I have this display Apple Cinema HD 23" which kind of blinks.  The image
becomes blurry or just disappears for a few fractions of a second.  I cannot
relate the event to anything specific.  Has anyone seen or observed this
New Wireless Mighty Mouse Heavier13 May 2007 16:47 GMT1
My wireless Mighty Mouse that I bought last November was getting flaky:
constantly losing connection, unresponsive, running batteries down
within hours, refusing to turn on, etc. It was obviously defective.
So, the Apple genius gave me a replacement. This replacement feels a

Affordable (USB) WebCam for Chat-? Non-tecchie Bargain Freak Seeks Recommendation13 May 2007 04:36 GMT3
Why is it I cannot find an off-the-shelf cam which lists Mac OS as a
system requirement-?
Main criterion: cost. I would like to find one for under about 25-30
bucks. They seem to abound for PC's.

Hey, gang:
Sorry in advance if this isn't the proper group for my query.
In any event, I'm tired of staring at the large block that is my 19" CRT

I've just started to do DVD backups using my iMAC G4 (screen on a
stick model)  with superdrive(Pioneer DVR 105) and find that the drive
doesn't recognize certain kinds of DVD+Rs (Maxell & Sony). It writes
just fine to Imation 8x DVD-Rs.
3.5 vs 5.5 gigs of Ram in G5 dual?11 May 2007 21:53 GMT8
I am wondering if a bump of 2 gigs of RAM in a G5 dual 2.5  PPC will boost
the performance much. I'm noticing a bit of slowdown in the past 6 months.

I just want to say that my MBP now has a shinny new Toshiba 200 Gb HD

I have an external Fantom Firewire CD-RW case. Model TFCD52FW. The

replaced. How do I open the case? I removed 8 screws and got the drive
loose, but not able to remove it. How do I remove the entire case? I've

ExpressCard/34 for external drive08 May 2007 19:51 GMT2
Forgive my ignorance.  I have a MacBook Pro and of course it has an
ExpressCard/34.  I find from time to time I need a fast external drive
and wonder if it is best to use the ExpressCard/34 to couple with a
drive, and what drive you might recommend.
