| External hard drives and speakers | 11 Apr 2007 18:03 GMT | 1 |
I've just bought an external hard hard drive for 12" Powerbook. It sits happily on my desk, and seems to be working fine, but I have one concern - how much of a risk is to leave it by my speakers? At the moment it's sitting about 2-3 inches in front of my right speaker.

I have been using a partition on a 50G external Firewire HD to back up my 400MHz G4 Titanium ("Mercury") powerbook, using SuperDuper. The TiBook only had a 10G drive so I used the remaining partitions of the external HD for other uses.
