I have a G4 1GHz machine. When I turn it off and then back on, it will not reboot. I must open the case and push the small reset button next to the clock battery. Also, the clock looses its settings. I have replaced the clock battery and zapped the PRAM. This did not fix

| AppleTV hard drive replacement | 28 Mar 2007 15:46 GMT | 7 |
Any one torn into an AppleTV yet? I'm wondering just how hard replacing the hard drive might be. Gotta be easier than the G4 iBook I just did (harder than any other I've done). 40 GB seems quite paltry. I haven't found any web reference on replacement,

| External Hard Drive for iBook G4 | 24 Mar 2007 06:06 GMT | 11 |
I save too much stuff; do y'all have any recommendations for an external drive, firewire connected. My iBook G4 has about 7GB of unused space and I know I need to move (yeah, or delete) a bunch of stuff. I'm thinking maybe 80GB minimum for a new external drive. What can I

I'm a "finally fed up enough with MS to consider the move" type and just about finished with my investigation. I've just about decided to make the switch and have a couple of questions if you all don't mind guiding my purchase.

| AirPort/iBook on a plane | 22 Mar 2007 00:51 GMT | 4 |
I recently brought my iBook along on a trip out of the country -- in fact, I'm still here now -- but was unable to look at some DVDs on the plane over as I was unsure that turning off AirPort in the System Prefs panel actually shut off power to the AirPort hardware, or if it just ...

| USB 2.x ports not seen by older Mac | 22 Mar 2007 00:48 GMT | 10 |
My dual 1Gig G4 Mac was made before USB 2 came out and has only 1.1 ports. I bought a card with two external USB 2 ports and just stuck it into the Mac. I had been told that I needed nothing else, that the Mac came with drivers and such (I'm now on 10.4.9).
