I recently inherited a beige G3, which came running 10.1 server. I decided I didn't want this version of the OS on there, and tried to switch the machine to OS 9 (the only other OS I have is 10.3+, which is unsupported on this G3) Much wierdness ensues.

I have an old beige G3 that I put a USB card into some years back. It appears to be USB 1.0 and is slooooow. Will my G3 support USB 2.0 and, if so, what card/manufacturer does anyone recommend? Same question with firewire?

My niece, who is away at college, has an iBook model M6497 on which the hard disk has failed. Can anyone tell me (i) what is the form factor of the drive in this machine? (ii) what interface, and, if SCSI, what connector is required?

hey all, I just upgraded to a G5 2ghtz and I think it has a NVIDIA GeForceFX 5200 Ultra with 64MB DDR SDRAM; graphics card. My question is will this system run a 30" LCD monitor?

I see that there are video/audio cables for certain iPod models that plug into the headphone connector and thereby provide a means to display video on a TV or monitor. There are other models of iPod that require a dock in order to display video on an external screen.
