Hi people;
I need to set my pioneer 109 revision 1.58 to region free. Does anyone
know the site from where I can download firmware for this?? I tryed
http://forum.rpc1.org/portal.php  but no much of help.

Anyone got a recommendation for computer speakers in the under $30
category? This would be primarily for music or the occasional movie.

I own a number of external SCSI-2 hard drives (Seagate, Western Digital
& IBM), which used to work with an old Apple Mac via onboard SCSI; and

I have an eMac 800mHz.  Video is failing.  When the video does fail,
will the side vga port still provide a signal for an external monitor?
Or will I be forced to do a hack and pull the CRT and replace it with an

At some point in the past my 80G Maxtor external hard drive stopped
mounting. This was on 10.3.9 and I looked around the net a lot for a
solution but couldn't get anything to work.  The external drive would
show in both Disk Utility and System Profiler, but not mount.  A few

I just replaced a 120 GB LaCie Firewire Drive in a d2 case, with a
Hitachi 250 GB drive, and have applied the LaCie firmware update and the
drive is only recognized as a 128 GB drive. I'm running OS 10.4.8 on a
G4 1.25 Mhz Al PowerBook.

I'm having trouble setting up a concatenated RAID array on two new
disks I've installed in my Mac Pro.
The Disk Utility instructions say "Drag the disks you want to use in
the set to the list on the right", but when I try, I just select them

I want to buy a refurbished eMac from Apple. My one and only question is if
any of you has a negative/positive experience with buying refurbs from Apple.

I use Retrospect's duplicate function every night to
keep my boot cloned to a second drive inside my mac.
It's worked flawlessly until a few days ago.
Now i'm getting the following message...

I'm having trouble playing xvid AVI's in QuickTime 7.02 (10.4.7). I
assume it's missing a codec for this particular AVI format. Is this one
of the Divx codecs?
