What do I have to do to get a USB > Serial converter to work under OS

I haven't burn any DVDs in a a few months, but i never had any problems
before.
I used Popcorn, Toast Tit. and Fast DVD Copy... everything just worked.
Now it doesn't work.

I have a 250GB drive on my Mac Pro that is quickly running out of
space.
I would like to buy a 500GB drive and make this my primary drive. How
do I copy the 250GB data to the 500GB, such that the 500GB drive can

I am thinking about keeping my aging iBook going by adding wireless and
extra storage through USB dongles. I need at least an extra 2GB storage.
My dream product would have both on the same dongle, but I don't think
that exists and I have two USB slots anyway.

When will 1TB Hard drives come out? This Fall???

I bought the 1st mac in 1984 with the embossed signiture of the
development team inside the case.  What's it worth?

My LaCie triple-interface 250GB drive has died.  It comes apart quite
easily, and as far as I can tell, one could easily buy a drive, pop it
in and use it.  The dead drive is a ATA 133 Maxtor MaxLine Plus II.  If
this is as straightforward as I imagine, I'd get a 300GB Maxtor ATA133 ...

i've a pb g4 that i'm trying to get video into
from a sony dvd video cam, without a firewire port, it's got a usb
port, but when connected throws the cam into "usb mode", and disables
playback from the cam

Does any one know if it is possible to have differing video mirroring
resolutions?
i.e. is is possible for the built in monitor to be 1600x1000 and the
mirrored video to be 1024x768?
