i just wanted to ask how final vinyl accomplishes recording of vinyl records
from a direct-connected turntable without a preamp. i know that final vinyl
uses the riaa eq when recording from a turntable, but how does it or the

I have an eMac 1.25 with a video problem. The upper left and right
corners of the display have a greenish blue hue to them. Is there an
adjustment for this problem or is it a video card/hardware problem?

My Mac was acting up this morning, so I decided to run Disk Utility.
I got the OK on that, but at the bottom of the screen, it said

I've a flat panel G4 iMac and happy with it. No apparent problems, but very
recently I notice that there is no startup chime. Is this indicative of other
problems? I'm willing to search the web for answers, but don't know the
questions to ask.
