| Upgrade to a Superdrive? | 29 Apr 2006 13:03 GMT | 7 |
This might be a bit of a noob question, but if an existing system has a dvd-rom drive, it is possible to upgrade such system to a Superdrive? As I understand it, this 'superdrive' is like the Pioneer 106, 110 models, or you could use other brands/models if you patch the system ...

I have a Canon i960 inkjet and an HP LaserJet 2420. Neither one has built-in duplexing, so when I want to print back-to-back, I print all the odd pages and then the even ones. The problem: Even though I DEselect *collate* and "reverse* in the print dialog box, both printers

| Can I tell iPod Shuffle not to loop? | 27 Apr 2006 21:07 GMT | 5 |
Excuse the cross-posts, but: 1. My ISP only carries comp.sys.mac.systems of these groups 2. There doesn't appear to be a newsgroup specific to iPod questions, so I am shotgun-approaching this

| What is a RAID? | 26 Apr 2006 18:44 GMT | 9 |
I have been hearing about some kind of hardware called a RAID, but I don't know what it is. I assume it's a kind of server, but that's just a guess. What is it, what's it used for, and how is it different from other types in its class (whatever class of hardware that is)?
