My father has an iMac G4  (OSX v.10.1.5 - 256 mb RAM - 700 mHz - 40

A friend of mine has a USB-2 hard drive connected to her TiBook's USB port
which unfortunately is only USB-1. The problem is that the performance of
that USB-2 hard drive is miserable, running at about 1/30th the speed of a
comparably sized drive connected via FireWire. Is there ...

I have a recently bought firewire external hard drive from OWC with the
Oxford 911+ bridge chip and v1.02 firmware. It is connected to a 2001

GarageKey MIDI keyboard help24 Oct 2005 23:57 GMT1
Today I picked up a GarageKey MIDI keyboard that was deeply discounted.
It works, sort of.  I'm trying to run it with GarageBand on my G4
iBook (1.1 ghz) and, in GarageBand, it won't stop playing the
increasingly irritating demo song.  I can't figure out how to turn it
