I'm running Tiger 10.4.1 on a  1.67 GHz PowerPC G4 17" PowerBook.

i have an eMac with 40gb hard drive (hard drive built in the
monitor). i just picked up a 120gb external hard drive to plug in
the usb ports to add extra hard drive space.
the external hard drive can be formatted for either a pc or a mac.

Yeah, here's an antique.  This was working fine for me years ago, and
then after an extremely cold trip to Utah, it began having problems.
Obviously that was a while ago, but I've dug it out to see if there's

I've been getting the following warning dialog from TechTool Pro when I
reboot my machine:
