I've just bought the Pyro A/V link and have 7 days in which to evaluate it.
When I import a test clip (from a VHS VCR) every thing seems fine except at
the very bottom of the video  there is a coloured or distorted bar about
10pixels or so.

12' ibook buying help...22 Jun 2005 22:55 GMT1
I would greatly appreciate some help. I am buying a 12" ibook for my
girlfriend. I will put bluetooth in it and desire an inexpensive 17" or
19" monitor for home use. I can see her plugging and unplugging the
ibook a few times a week. She wants a clean looking desk. She's got a
Mouse problems.22 Jun 2005 22:19 GMT1
Installed a Logitech two-button mouse with an application switch on my
Mac.  The box says built for OS X, but on closer inspection, its an
older version, somewhere in the range of 10.2 - 10.2.8.  The mouse
wouldn't work, so I uninstalled it and replaced my Macally optical.
Dead power supply?22 Jun 2005 21:36 GMT13
I have an old gigabit ethernet G4 I plan to give to a friend. Last
night I unplugged it from a surge-protector and moved it into the
living room. This morning I plugged it into a wall outlet and it won't
power on. I opened the case, pressed the wee power-whatever button

Is there a Mac app to read Maxtor firmware data?20 Jun 2005 17:03 GMT4
In my G4 I have to Maxtor drives one of which is the notorious 5T060H^.

Monitor quality20 Jun 2005 03:38 GMT9
It's been a long time since I've needed to purchase a monitor, and I
