I have a friend of a friend's iBook (2002) that will not boot. I've tried booting into Target mode (firewire), booting from 10.2 install CD's, Reset the PRAM, (even let it chime 4 times) safe mode and verbose mode. All that happens is the drive starts clicking even

I've just bought the Pyro A/V link and have 7 days in which to evaluate it. When I import a test clip (from a VHS VCR) every thing seems fine except at the very bottom of the video there is a coloured or distorted bar about 10pixels or so.

Did Orange Micro go out of business? I have 2 PCI SCSI cards I am trying to get to work under 10.4 without any luck. I went to www.orangemicro.com and got a "domain for sale" page. Any ideas on getting these cards to work in X???

Installed a Logitech two-button mouse with an application switch on my Mac. The box says built for OS X, but on closer inspection, its an older version, somewhere in the range of 10.2 - 10.2.8. The mouse wouldn't work, so I uninstalled it and replaced my Macally optical.

In my G4 I have to Maxtor drives one of which is the notorious 5T060H^. It has started to suffer from periodic narcolepsy. So I thought to find out if I have the latest firmware. On Maxtor's web site there is no app to explor this for Mac.
