So is there any difference between 1.1 and 2.0 cables? Looking for some extension cables on line, and it's touch. Some don't say anything. Some 2.0's look cheap enough they're probably 1.1's in a new package. So is there any real difference in a 2.0 cable?

| Recovering a crashed hard disk | 01 Mar 2005 01:04 GMT | 4 |
This is probably a really stupidly simple question, but ... My Mac at work (an old iMac, with no FireWire or SCSI ports, so i can't boot it as a target disk, if that matters) has crashed - it claims it can't find the operating system and refuses to boot. I can boot from a CD,
